Men's Breakfast

The Men's Ministry came out of the Promise Keepers Movement numerous years back. With local men attending the stadium events they returned with the desire to have a local ministry for men. It began here in Julesburg under the leadership of Pastor Arthur Roth who arranged for the men to meet for breakfast, fellowship and devotions. 

We first met in a local restaurant for a period of time and then moved to the Mennonite Church Fellowship room. At the present time, a full course breakfast is prepared and served by a number of the men of the church serving up to fifty men at times. Twice a year we invite our ladies for a February Sweetheart breakfast. A number of the men take turns to share a special time of spiritual input following the breakfast.

 

Special groups appear at times as well as special speakers. The group has sponsored a youth to attend the Platte Valley Christian Rodeo Bible Camp at the local fairgrounds as well as a number of other groups.

 

 

Meetings are held at 7:30 A.M. the first Saturday of each month at the Julesburg Mennonite Church, Julesburg, Colorado.
